The Board of Directors of Berner Ltd has appointed M.Sc. (Econ.) Pasi Flinkman as the company’s new CEO. Flinkman will take up the position in November 2026. He succeeds Antti Korpiniemi, who will retire at the end of 2026 after serving as CEO of Berner since 2013.
Pasi Flinkman (b. 1969) joins the family-owned Berner from his current role as CEO of Raisio Plc. He brings long and versatile leadership experience from the food industry, as well as solid expertise in international sales.
“Pasi Flinkman will strengthen Berner’s international growth with an open and people-oriented leadership approach that is fully aligned with our values”, says Nicolas Berner, Chairman of the Board of Berner Ltd.
Earlier in his career, Flinkman has also worked in various positions within the Orkla and Leaf groups, among others.
“I am grateful for the trust placed in me and delighted by the opportunity to take on the role of CEO at Berner. Berner is a strong and respected company with a long history, clear values, and a solid foundation for continued growth. I look forward to starting in the role and getting to know the company and its people”, says Pasi Flinkman.
Pasi Flinkman succeeds Antti Korpiniemi, who has led Berner for 13 years, a period during which the company has grown and expanded internationally in significant ways.
“I would like to warmly thank Antti Korpiniemi already at this stage for his long-term and distinguished work for Berner. Under Antti’s leadership, we have achieved record results even in challenging operating environments. Antti has built Berner’s growth in a long-term and responsible manner, in line with the company’s values”, Nicolas Berner says.
