We develop and manufacture numerous Finnish favourite products domestically and import well-known international brands. We offer a wide range of solutions and expertise for various industrial sectors, as well as for the private and public sectors, in the Nordic countries and the Baltics.
In consumer products, we manufacture, import and market a wide range of branded consumer goods. Our well-known brands compete as market leaders in several categories: cosmetics, food products, home cleaning, wellbeing, baby products, everyday essentials, car care, gardening and footwear. We invest in Finnish product development and production, while also working in close cooperation with our international network of partners.
Healthcare and laboratories is a strongly international business area that serves the public and private sectors broadly in Finland, Sweden, Norway, Denmark and Estonia. The operations consist of four business units: assistive devices and services (Assist & Care), specialised medical care solutions (Healthcare Nordic), consumables for healthcare, disinfection and hygiene (Consumables), and comprehensive laboratory solutions (Lab Nordic). The organisation employs 220 professionals in five countries.
In agriculture, we are a reliable partner for farmers in Finland and Sweden. We offer crop protection products, fertilisers, seeds, cultivation supplies and related services and advice directly to our farmer customers. In Finland, farmers can also trade grain and oil crops with us easily and smoothly. We also have our own fertiliser production in Finland. In Estonia, Latvia and Lithuania, we operate through local distributors. We also serve our professional turf customers internationally.
In the Berner Industry business unit, we source products globally for our market area and serve our customers in the Nordic countries, the Baltics and elsewhere in Europe with solid expertise. We supply raw materials and additives for the needs of the manufacturing industry and the infrastructure sector. The factories of the Chemigate Group manufacture starch-based binders and adhesives, speciality chemicals, and native potato starch. Its main customer base is the Nordic paper and board industry. Berner Chemicals Oy manufactures magnesium chemicals mainly for the pulp and paper industry. Voda Nordic Oy focuses its operations on water chemicals for the water supply sector and industry.
