Awarded EcoVadis Platinum for the fourth time

In April 2026, we achieved the highest, Platinum level for the fourth time in the comprehensive EcoVadis sustainability assessment. Our overall score was 86/100, which means that we are among the top 1% of all companies assessed by EcoVadis during the 12 months preceding the awarding of the medal.

The EcoVadis assessment comprehensively evaluates a company’s entire sustainability management system in relation to environmental matters, labour and human rights, ethics, and sustainable procurement. The assessment is based on policies and principles, practical measures, and results.

In the April 2026 assessment, we achieved a score of 90/100 in sustainable procurement. Our score for labour and human rights was 86/100, for environmental matters 85/100, and for ethics 83/100, the latter also including ICT matters..

Commitments and memberships

We have been committed to the world’s largest corporate responsibility initiative, the UN Global Compact, since 2018. We are also part of the international Responsible Care sustainability programme of the chemical industry, which is coordinated in Finland by the Chemical Industry Federation of Finland.

Two memberships help us to develop and ensure a responsible supply chain: amfori BSCI focuses on developing and ensuring the responsibility of global supply chains, above all in what are known as risk countries in terms of labour and human rights. In 2024, we also became a member of EcoVadis, which enables us to carry out comprehensive sustainability assessments for our suppliers.

We have assessed the impact of our operations on the 17 UN Sustainable Development Goals and their 169 targets. While we have an impact on all 17 goals, five stand out as those where we can make the greatest difference.
